A.Vogel Extra Moisturising Eye Drops contain double the amount of hyaluronic acid for an extra soothing and longer lasting experience. Always read the leaflet.
Adults: 1 drop in each eye up to 5 times daily.
The drops can be used for a maximum of 30 consecutive days.
Suitable for children over the age of 12.
Suitable for use when wearing contact lenses and those with sensitive eyes.
Do not exceed stated dose.
A.Vogel Eye Drops Extra Moisturising come in a unique dropper bottle. The easy-to-use dropper system releases just one drop at a time for ease of application.
The unique bottle design keeps the contents sterile without using preservatives, ensuring the product can be used frequently, once open.
1. Remove the coloured cap from the bottle.
2. First time use: Hold the bottle upside down over your hand and squeeze the base several times until the first drop is released. The dropper bottle is now ready for use.
3. Tilt the head back slightly and pull the lower eyelid downwards. Place the dropper above the eye. Holding the bottle with your thumb and middle finger, press the base of the bottle with your index finger.
4. Close your eye so that the fluid spreads evenly over the eye’s surface. Replace the cap on the bottle, pressing firmly.
If symptoms last for more than 3 consecutive days without improvement, seek advice from an optician or healthcare professional.
Use with contact lenses: If you wear contact lenses, you do not need to take them out before using these eye drops.
Keep out of the sight and reach of children.
Best before see top of box.
Store in a cool dry place. Store between 8oC and 25oC
Do not share the bottle with anyone else.
Use within 6 months of opening.
Do not use the bottle after the expiry date.
Hyaluronic acid (2 mg/ml), Euphrasia officinalis (Eyebright), sodium chloride, boric acid, disodium tetraborate decahydrate, water.
Pregnancy and Nursing: This product can be used as directed at the stated dose.
Driving and using machines: No restrictions with this product.
Suitable for contact lense users.
Suitable for vegetarians and vegan.
This product should NOT be taken by anyone who is allergic to any of the ingredients.

“The bottle of drops that I purchased in 2020 was very difficult to operate. The base was too stiff to squeeze with one hand. I phoned the Vogel help line and the assistant sent me an applicator free of charge. I found this too cumbersome to work. I reordered drops late in 2021 and this time the base of the container is much easier to squeeze and I find the drops very helpful.”

“Really difficult to use by yourself: you have to apply a lot of pressure to release the mechanism at the bottom to get a drop into eye. Once you managed it it's OK. Very difficult to use for people suffering from arthrites in the hands”

“I've only used these once so far, they helped but the bottle is difficult to use as other reviews mention. It would be good if you could choose between the harder to use bottle for the greater shelf life or a normal bottle and accept the product may be contaminated quicker.”
Response from A.Vogel: The container for our Eye Drops is of a special design - a design which means that we do not need to use preservatives in the product. This is something that many of our customers appreciate, as a lot of eye drop products contain preservatives; and whilst we understand that this design makes it slightly harder to use, we feel that keeping the product natural is the greater option. “The eyedrops postage time was fine but I had to wait till late night opening at the sorting office to collect the box which was more than ten times the volume size of the eyedrops. It defeated the advantage of ordering online. I expected it to go through the letterbox but I may as well have gone to Boots. The eyedrops themselves were fine. I won't reorder.”

We despatch all our orders boxed, as this protects the goods from being damaged in transit, so unfortunately, none of our orders would fit in a standard letterbox.
