Get the recipeBambu® is a 100% natural coffee alternative. The recipe was created by Alfred Vogel more than 50 years ago and contains organic chicory, Turkish figs, malted barley, wheat, and Greek acorns.
Bambu® contains no caffeine. It is non-addictive and chicory, one of its ingredients, has a positive influence on the digestive process.
You can enjoy Bambu® made in the same way as any other instant coffee drink. Alternatively, it is particularly delicious made with hot milk (or soya milk) instead of water. In the summer, chill the milky drink, adding some ice cubes for extra refreshment.
Use one teaspoon per cup, pour on hot water or milk and stir well. Serve hot or chilled.
Bambu® coffee alternative should be stored in a cool and dry place.
Organic chicory, wheat, malted barley, figs and acorns.

“I was looking for a substitute for coffee which I tend to drink too much of as the caffeine makes my menopause symptoms worse. This product looks like coffee and has a fruity flavour and is good at fooling me into thinking that I am drinking coffee but without the caffeine intake.
Love it. Will buy it again.”
Carol Parker, Lancaster
Response from A.Vogel: You're spot on with your comments. Bambu is an excellent choice for menopausal ladies whose symptoms are exacerbated with caffeine but cannot live without their 'coffee' hit.
