1. Slice the sweet potatoes into rough wedge shapes, keeping the skin in-tact.
2. Mix the wedges in a bowl with the olive oil, turmeric, paprika, garlic and a sprinkling of Herbamare Spicy and arrange on a baking tray.
3. Bake in a pre-heated oven, at 200°C for 40 minutes, giving them a shake at the half way point to avoid sticking.
Homecooked sweet potato wedges make a lovely side dish to any meal. Sweet potatoes contain lovely complex, slow-release carbohydrates, plus are packed full of nutrients, including the antioxidants beta-carotene and vitamin C. The fibre content of sweet potatoes is complex and you can increase this further my keeping the skins on!
