Hummus is such a quick & easy side to make. It is the perfect snack, paired with chopped carrots, pitta bread, crackers, rice cakes...whatever you fancy! It’s actually a good source of protein and fibre too. Sun-dried tomato has such a delicious and unique flavour!
1. Place the chickpeas, sun-dried tomatoes, oil, tahini paste, garlic, lemon juice, pepper and water into a blender or food processor and whizz up on high until smooth.
(Add a little extra water or lemon juice if the hummus is too thick)
2. That's it!
Serve with breadsticks, warm bread, carrots, celery...whatever you fancy!
Keep stored in a sealed container in the fridge and eat within 3 days.
