I am making lots of mucus, my ears feel blocked and I am forever blowing my nose, which is now red and peeling. Could I be suffering from hayfever? The field opposite my house is planted with rapeseed, could this be significant?

Rapeseed is a common cause of hayfever so it is possible but I would suggest checking with your doctor just to confirm this.
