Is it normal to have a swollen neck and jaw glands with the cold? Mine are sore and swollen and my throat is sore and red.

This can happen especially if the infection is more severe than normal.

It is an indication that your immune system is responding to the infection in an appropriate way by mobilising white blood cells to the area affected in order to fight the invading bugs.
