I have sufferd from cold sores all my life but the last fews months I have had 2 or 3 in a short space of time. I have had major foot surgery and have been layed up for 12 weeks but now I am on the mend. I have been very stressed and I don't sleep well. I was looking for some advice on cold sores as one side of my mouth seems to be sore and red since my last cold sore which was 4 weeks ago and now I have another small one in the same place.

Stress can play a big part in the recurrence of cold sores; we would, however, also suggest that constant cold sores are checked out by your GP.
