The hormone oestrogen is know as a bit of a mood enhancer so when your oestrogen levels start to fall on the approach to the menopause it can affect mood, sleep and relaxation.
Also falling oestrogen can make us worry more and be more sensitive to emotional issues so it is possible this fall is contributing to your sleep problems and dreams.
You could try a magnesium citrate supplement or spray (there is a night time one) to see if that helps and you could also add in Night Essence. The Flower Essence work more on the emotional level and can often be helpful.
