background

I have started getting terrible spots around my temple, forehead, chin, nose, all over my face, and even on my head. I have never really had bad spots before, not even as a teenager. Could this be my age and the menopause? I have no idea about my periods as I have been having the deppo injection since I was about 25 for extreme painfull periods. I also have suffered with night sweats since I was about 38, so badly that I have to change the bed as it is soaking wet. My next deppo is due next week and I am unsure as to whether I should have it or not. I know I can keep having it untill I am 50, but they can't do a blood test to test my hormones while I am having the deppo injection.

Did you know?

You won’t get the menopause the minute you turn 50! The average starting age is actually between 45 and 55 and it can often depend on a number of factors including hereditary, weight and health, however every single woman will have an individual menopause.
