Loss of libido is very common in the menopause and there can be several things contributing to this.
As you still have your ovaries you will generally go through the menopause at the same time (45-55 years apporx is the average age).
Falling oestrogen during the menopause is one of the main culprits but the hormonal changes put a tremendous strain on the body generally, so energy levels often fall and this can be a contributory factor.
Low oestrogen levels can affect our mood too, so adding all these together it is no surprise you feel differently!
You may find the herb Maca good for this as it is traditionally used for libido, energy and mood. It is not one of our products but just Google for more info. I often recommend it for those menopause issues that our remedies may not cover.
You could also add in Menopause Support. This is a soya isoflavone supplement which is used to help gently raise and balance oestrogen levels. You could use both together if you wished.
Acupuncture can also be really good for this, so is worth looking into as well.
