It can be very difficult to lose weight in the menopause as the metabolism can be affected.
Many women find that they develop problems metabolising carbs, you may find cutting right down on carbs (bread, pasta, biscuits, potatoes etc) and increasing protein and veg helpful and it is very important to eat enough as cutting calories too low can actually make you put on weight!
