I'm 42 years old and I have Adeonymyosis. For the past few months my periods have been getting more irregular - I used to be every 28 days. My main concern is my low mood, tiredness, difficulty getting back to sleep if woken during the night, and a general feeling of being down. I'm being snappy at my children. My mum and maternal grandmother were both 48 years old when they went through the menopause. Could my symptoms be the start of the menopause? I'd appreciate any advice that you can give me.
