Dizziness and palpitations are actually very common and most women will experience these at some point in the menopause.
However, they can be caused by other issues so if it is happening every day or gets worse it is best to check with your doctor as well.
In the meantime, check your diet - caffeine, high salt and sugar foods, and dehydration can all be contributory factors so if you have any of these regularly it may be a good idea to cut down slowly and that may help as well.
Big gaps between meals can affect this too so make sure that you are eating little and often.
