The glands under my left breast in particular are very painful. I got it checked out a couple of years ago and all was ok - no lumps, discharge etc. Is this unusual? I am 63!

Breast tenderness is quite common but if you have not had it checked recently then it is important to go and see your doctor.

Remember, too when you last had your breasts measured professionally as they can change shape and form very quickly at this time and a badly fitting bra, especially underwired ones, can actually cause pain and discomfort.
