Moodiness and outbreaks of anger are quite common during the menopause. It is very important to talk to those around you so that they know what you are going through, rather than thinking this is really how you are going to treat them on an ongoing basis!
You may find a magnesium supplement helps to reduce the levels of anger and irritation, and you may also want to check out a natural stress relief remedy such as Stress Relief Daytime, to take the edge off things. I think this is more effective than Kalms because it is a liquid and they tend to absorb quickly and therefore work fast - but that is my opinion!
Try to avoid caffeine (coffee, tea, fizzy drinks), as these can make you feel more out of control. Sugary foods may have the same effect, so try out some good dried fruit for snacks instead.
Your cycle will probably continue to get erratic, which is fine, it means your menopause is progressing (and you're nearer to being out the other end!); but let me know if you start bleeding a lot, as that is not good for you, and be aware that as your hormone levels jump around you may feel quite unlike your usual self, and it doesn't mean you are losing the plot but just that your body is dealing with changes. Be nice to yourself!
