Plantago is a perennial herb and provides a nutritious food source to wildlife as well as agricultural animals. Culpepper, the well known herbalist, described the herb as both astringent and soothing. Some years later, Alfred Vogel also found Plantago to be one of the ‘undervalued’ plants used in healthcare.
Food Supplement
Food supplements should not be used as a substitute for a varied and balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle.
Directions:
Adults: 15 drops 2 to 3 times a day, in a little water.
Children (2-12 years): 1 drop per year of age twice daily in a little water.
Do not exceed stated recommended daily dose.
Please seek medical advice if pregnant.
Keep out of reach and sight ofchildren.
Tincture of organically grown fresh leaves and flowers of Plantago lanceolata (Lance Leaf Plantain), extracted in alcohol (49%V/V).

“Was recommended to use a pre-prepared saline rinse by ENT Consultant a few months ago. This was ok at first but I did find it extremely messy to use. By chance came across the A. Vogel website and decided to give this product a try. Wonderful product!! The only negative I have is that the drops can come out of the bottle rather quickly so do be careful. Whilst I am more than happy with using this product I do realise that it may not suit everyone.”

You are spot on here; Plantago can take a little longer than most of our herbs before its full effect is reached. Remember to avoid foods such as dairy, as they can make congestion worse.
