In some circumstances you can calm your eczema symptoms by making small amendments to your diet?
Change your diet to help control eczemaSpilanthes oleracea, a flowering herb in the plant family Asteracaea is also known as toothache plant or paracress. More interestingly its other name is the peek-a-boo plant because the flowers are round yellow balls with a red ‘eye’ on top.
Spilanthes has attractive bronzy, dark green leaves which are not only edible but have also been used in traditional medicine for many centuries.
It is native to the tropics of Brazil but can be grown in various parts of the world – including Switzerland where A.Vogel cultivates this plant for use in our Spilanthes tincture.

“I use this for a chronic skin complaint (Eczema) and take it orally every day, and believe it has a soothing effect. I have applied it topically, but care has to be taken here to dilute it and apply with cotton wool.”
Billy, Isle of Man
Response from A.Vogel: Glad to hear that Spilanthes is helping internally. Topically (as you say) will indeed be sore on irritated skin and probably best avoided.
