“I take nettle tincture daily to relieve a permanent menopausal itch on my shoulder. If I stop taking it the itch returns. As a bonus my hair has become less brittle. It tastes great too.”

“Stinging nettle tincture was recommended to me to help with kidney stones. Since I started taking it I have had no discomfort. In fact my last scan shows they have reduced in size. (I have also made dietary changes - no animal protein, lots of lemon water etc.)”

Susan Moorhead

Response from A.Vogel:

Urtica is great blood tonic and diuretic so we were pleased to read that it has helped you. We would point out: anyone with issues such as kidney stones, should always seek advice from a health care professional, before using any type of remedy.

“I use this product in combination with Hair Complex. But I would like to know that A.Vogel approves it. I was thinking that Stinging Nettle would complement the tablets version and only would do good to improve my hair quality and re-growth (from my last comments, A.Vogel would recall that I've lost about 25-30% of my hair due to stress. For information, my hair length is below my waistline and I still did NOT cut it off, as I strongly believe that I will re-grow the hair, which I've lost and also improve the structure and quality of my hair with the help of your TWO products. Therefore my thoughts were: one product will complement another. Am I correct? I would even have tea, made of Stinging Nettle, if A.Vogel would have it. Is it good idea? Now I wish to report my progress. I have both products on a regular daily basis. What I've noticed when I brush my hair that I stopped losing a lot of hair, as I had in the past, as I always look what is in the brush - I think that this is a great progress, after just two months of the use of both products. Also there is another good news. My hair grow 1 cm a month. As I visit my hairdresser regularly, she told during last visit that in the last two months my hair grown actually 2.5 cm, which means that it is 1.25 cm per month - this is already faster than before I started to use A.Vogel products. And the final news, which is the most important - as I am checking with my fingers on the scalp from time to time - I am so happy to say that I did noticed NEW hair re-growth started! At the moment 3-4 mm, but all over! This means that hopefully in another month, or two the newly re-grown hair already will be 1 cm long. Probably first cm takes long time? Once I will reach new hair re-grown to 1 cm, then I anticipate that the hair will continue to grow at speed 1 cm per/month. I would appreciate some comments that my progress is good? Thank you for the product and excellent service.”

Response from A.Vogel: Superb progress so far! It roughly takes 3 months for hair to re-keratinise, so after this time I'm sure the results will be even better. Stinging nettles have traditionally been used as a source of calcium and iron, and are full of nutrients that may help hair loss.

“Really works despite resevations about its ability to work. Tried potent drugs from immunologist this is the only thing that works but you mud give it time to get into your system”

Response from A.Vogel: Brilliant feedback thank you, and yes, as with most things natural you do indeed need to give them time to get into your system to appreciate their effects.
