What are Flower Essences?

Flower Essences are a liquid extract of flowers in a base of grape alcohol. They are usually taken orally and are believed to have a positive influence on emotional wellbeing.

How do they work?

Flower Essences work on emotional aspects and feelings.  It is well known that stress or anxiety can effect the emotions and manifest in physical symptoms if continued over time. Many common ailments suffered today are as a result of untreated stress. By releasing the emotional stress there will also be a physical benefit as well.

How long do they take to work?

Flower remedies have been traditionally used to help cope with specific situations as they arise and also to provide longer-term support.

How do I choose which blend to take?

At first glance it can seem that more than one of the remedies would be appropriate to you. You should, however, consider the remedy that seems most appropriate to your emotional needs.

How long does a bottle last?

A 30ml bottle will last 3 weeks if used at the basic adult dose of 5 drops three times a day.

Can children take the Essences?

Yes. Most of the remedies are suitable for children over the age of two.

What is the best way to take them?

Take the essence in water according to the instructions on the product packaging. Adults may use the product by dropping the recommended dose directly under the tongue to help in specific situations.

Can they be taken alongside other remedies or medicines?

These essences contain alcohol and can be used with other remedies and medicines provided they do not warn against alcohol.
