Homemade Congee

Traditional, nutritious & wholesome

@emmatalksnutrition

A traditional start to the day – nourishing, hydrating + gentle on digestion ✅ Across Western and Eastern cultures many practitioners will agree that digestive fire can commonly be lacking ? I’ve been looking into this lots recently, and looking at options of offering nourishment, but also not overloading the digestive system, especially after a period of ill health. And this is how I came across congee. Super hydrating, super nourishing, and super gentle on your digestion. So, I had a go at making some. This is a new concept for me so I’d love to hear more from some experts out there. What’s your experience with congee? ?✨
