The most common side effects of tamsulosin include a feeling of dizziness or lightheadedness (probably caused by a lowering of blood pressure), a runny or stuffy nose and problems with ejaculation.

As with any medicine, allergic reactions can also occur and these most often take the form of a skin rash or be more severe to include swelling of the tongue and difficulty in breathing.
