I have been having a lot of mucus problems lately and feel quite run down. Blocked inner ear in January - still bit blocked now and ears click. Then flu developed two days ago. Can't get comfortable to sleep, can hear my pulse in my head, blocked sinuses, aching eyes..... have been taking echinacea in between ear and flu illness but guess I just need something else???? Did have antibiotics for a week in jan to reduce inflammation of ear. Any ideas?

A head cold is more likely to affect the sinuses and this could explain the symptom of ‘pain in the head’ that you describe.

If this does not resolve in the next day or so, you should see your doctor.

If you wish to treat this, you might want to look at a herbal nasal spray which will help clear your sinuses and any nasal obstruction present.
