background

I'm having irregular periods. I had periods 14 days apart, then 41 days, and then 18. I went to my gynocologist and he tested me for the "serious" stuff and everything was fine. I do have an ovarian cyst that we've been watching. I'm freaking out because my doctor is always very concerned when a I tell them about the frequent periods. Can it be that my hormones are acting up and it's part of the menopause process? The frequent periods don't always mean fibroid tumors do they?
