This is a very common scenario; as your hormonal balance changes it can interfere with your body's temperature control, for some reason it thinks you are too hot so it triggers a flush which makes you sweat, then the sweat on the skin cools you down making you feel cold and so on!
Sage is well known to help with this so it may be worth trying and it usually starts working quickly.
Stress, caffeine, dehydration, and high sugar foods can also trigger this during the menopause, and some women do find that addressing these can make a difference too!
