Yes, this is very likely. Histamine can cause flushes all on its own without any help from the menopause. We also know that any strain on the adrenal or immune system can have an impact on menopausal symptoms, and both these areas can be affected when you’re suffering from hayfever. For the time being I suggest you swap to Menosan tincture, as you can take this 3 times a day and it may give you more cover just now. To keep histamine levels down, drink 2-3 cups of nettle tea daily and take plenty of vitamin C. Don’t forget to drink lots of plain water too, to prevent dehydration with the flushes.
