I have just started a very light bleed after 12 to 15 months of no periods, and have just started a relationship after about 7yrs or so. Will this mean I could get pregnant? Do I need to take precautions? I am 52 years of age.

Entering a new relationship can fire up the hormones again and it could still be possible to get pregnant, so it is best to use precautions until you have not had a period for about 2 years. It is also a good idea to see your doctor about this if the bleeding continues.
