Yes, your gums can often become much more sensitive during menopause. They can start to bleed very easily when you brush them, and they can start to recede as well.
Get this checked out by your dentist first and let them know that you're going through the menopause.
You may find CoQ10 helpful for this, one of the things it is used for is bleeding/inflamed gums and it can be quite effective. You would probably need 100mg per day but just Google for more info.
You may also find changing to a natural toothpaste a good idea to if you haven't already done so as some of the chemicals in ordinary toothpastes (such as antibiotics, fluoride, SLS, parabens and others) can irritate already sensitive gums.
