I am 49 years old and have missed my period for 7 months now, but it has come back again. For the past week now I have been experiencing some smelly blood discharge and don’t know if it is my fibroid shrinking.

It is very common for women to find that they miss a few periods and then one or two come back. This can happen several times before the periods stop completely. However, if you are concerned about a fibroid then it is a good idea to see your doctor about it.
