Some women do experience nausea with a flush, very often this is due to extreme hormone fluctuations.
Having one or two cups of ginger tea may soothe nausea. You can also use sage tablets to help ease your hot flushes if they are troublesome.
Acupuncture can be very effective for hormonal flux so it is worth looking into as well. There are lots of other things you can do to help balance your hormones. Check out my blog "How to help balance your hormones naturally in peri-menopause' for more advice.
Make sure that you are eating little and often as low blood sugar levels may contribute to the nausea as well, just make sure that you are not eating lots of sugary foods as that may make this worse.
While nausea is quite a common symptom in the menopause, if it is leading to vomiting it is important to get this checked out by your doctor as they may be able to give you something to help.
