This is a common scenario on the approach to the menopause.
Some women will find that their periods stop for good at this stage and others may find that they get another period but the gap between each one becomes longer until they finally stop.
Most women will go through the menopause with little or no problem so having no symptoms is quite normal!
However, if you are at all worried do see your doctor, they can test your hormone levels and that will give you a better idea of what is happening.
