Low levels of oestrogen can cause a reduction of protective mucus in the vagina resulting in symptoms such as dryness, itching, irritation and infection.
This can also affect the thickness of the vagina wall making it more difficult and painful for sex.
I would suggest a combination of Menopause Support and Sea Buckthorn Oil. Menopause support is known to help gently raise and balance oestrogen and Sea Buckthorn Oil is often used to help restore the mural balance, both can take about 4 weeks or so to start showing benefit.
In the meantime you can get natural lubricants from your local healthshop.
However, if your symptoms continue it is best to check with your doctor just to rule out any low grade infection.
