That sounds rotten and has obviously developed over some time.
Has your daughter seen a physio or chiropractor? Both are available on the NHS. I say see a therapist ASAP because this sounds like a mechanical problem, perhaps a slipped disc or something longer term such as might be caused by having one leg slightly longer than the other, pelvic mal-alignment or a slight kink in the spine.
She'll need to see a specialist practitioner to get to the root of her symptoms.
What is certain is the pins and needles will be the result of her back issue, though that in turn could be either the cause or effect of her knee and ankle trouble.
To help make things more comfortable, Atrosan Devils Claw and a good magnesium supplement (by good I mean magnesium citrate, magnesium taurate, magnesium malate or magnesium gluconate) should help reduce some of the symptoms in the joints and surrounding muscles.
Hope she feels some benefit and gets to the cause soon
