Read some of our customer ratingsAlfalfa sprouts complement light meals such as salads at any time of the year. The slightly bitter, mildly nutty taste adds a distinctive flavour to salads, soups, dips and many other dishes.
Alfalfa sprouts are an excellent source of vital nutrients – considered one of the most nutritionally rich sprouts containing high levels of protein, calcium, carotene, iron, magnesium, chlorophyll, potassium, zinc and other minerals.
Before sowing, rinse thoroughly in fresh water. For best results, sow seeds thinly. Germination time may vary with temperature.
Amount per tray / jar: 1.5 tablespoons of seeds
Temperature: 18 – 22oC
Water: Twice daily
Ready to eat: After approximately 6 to 8 days
Ingredients: Organically grown Alfalfa seeds.
