Eating your hydration - why so important?
A tip from a Nutritionist - Eating Your Hydration
Nowadays around 1/3 of us are thought to be chronically dehydrated. Now, whilst most of us, admittedly need to make more effort to simply drink more water, I like to prioritise liquid elements in my foods and meals too.
Our modern world’s are so drying these days – heat, air conditioning, processed foods, diuretics (natural and medicinal)… By eating and cooking from fresh, we can hydrate with nutrients and electrolytes in tow too, before topping up with more simple water, in between meals. Think fresh fruits, vegetables, soups, broths, stews, dressings and not overcooking food. Try it for yourself and feel the difference.
