I'm 47 years old and I've not had a period for 9 months. I get the occasional hot flush, and at the moment I have a little breast pain. I'm getter a fluttery, hormonal in my lower abdomen as well. Is this normal for the Peri-menopause?

Yes, these are all common symptoms as you approach the menopause.

If you are only experiencing them occasionally, it could just be stress triggering them but it might be a good idea to note when you get the flushes and that could give you a clue as to what is causing them.

Breast pain/discomfort can often be eased with a kelp supplement.

Dehydration can be a contributory factor so just make sure that you are drinking plenty of plain water everyday - tea, coffee, or fizzy drinks don't count!
