I am 54, having heavy periods twice a month. I am passing thick clots some that do not flush from toilet. Is there anything I can take to help?

This is a common scenario on the approach to the menopause and can continue for some time before your periods finally stop. However, frequent/heavy periods are not good for you and can cause anaemia which in turn can cause fatigue, low mood, poor sleep etc so if this continues it is best to see your doctor.
