Hot flushes can vary from person to person, no two will be exactly the same.
Some women will get all over body flushes whilst others may get just a heat wave and there are all the variations in-between! It is difficult to say whether they will get worse.
Flushes can be triggered by all sorts of things not just falling hormones. Stress, poor diet, lots of sugar/salt foods, caffeine, alcohol, tiredness, even a cold can be a trigger so looking after yourself well is the key.
Make sure that you have a good healthy diet, plenty of plain water (tea, coffee, fizzy drinks, juices don't count!), plenty of rest and as little stress as possible.
