This is actually very common in the menopause.
Lowering oestrogen can affect our mood and the menopause itself stresses the nervous system making us more prone to stress and anxiety.
There are a number of things you can do to help yourself. Night Essence can often help to stop the mental chatter that stops us from sleeping so you could put a couple of drops on the tongue before bed and if you do wake in the night just repeat this, it can be taken as many times as needed.
I would also suggest a female multivit with plenty of B Vits to help support your nervous system generally and take an extra magnesium supplement as this is vital for mood stability, relaxation and sleep.
You may also find Menopause Support helpful as this is known to gently raise oestrogen which in turn can reduce symptoms such as mild flushes.
Make sure that you are drinking plenty of plain water as dehydration can be a contributory factor for low mood and joint pain.
