Hot flushes and night sweats are common symptoms as you approach the menopause and you can still get them whilst still having periods. However, these can also be caused by stress and anxiety as well.
Fatigue is common too, as hormonal changes can affect energy levels. You may find taking a gentle iron tonic helpful and sage may help with the flushes.
However, if this does continue or you start to feel worse it is best to get a check up from your doctor just to rule out any other underlying cause.
