I have suffered from cystitis for years and it is ruining my life. I have been up since 5am (now 10am) with it and it just never seems to go away. I have a urologist appointment soon so hopefully that can shed some light on what is going on. It is draining me and making me scared to do things such as go on holiday in case I get cystitis! They only thing that seems to ease the pain is to sit in the bath.

Hi Isabel, I am glad to hear that you are going to your Urologist. In the meantime you could try taking our Cystitis remedy called Uva-ursi. You should start by taking the full dose: 15 drops in a little water up to five times daily and see how you get on. However, if your symptoms persist or get any worse we would recommend you see your doctor as soon as you are able.

Did you know?

Cystitis is sometimes known as ‘honeymoon cystitis’. Why? Well, during sex, bacteria can spread from the perineum to the urethral opening. The risk of developing cystitis is therefore increased depending on the frequency you have intercourse (sorry honeymooners!).
