I am 42 years old and have had some issues with perimenpause. Skipping periods and sometimes having two a month. Right now I am having so far a 23 day period and have scheduled to see a doctor, is there any homeopathic remedy to help with the heavyflow and clotting?

Although prolonged periods are quite common in the perimenopause they are not good for you and can cause fatigue, low mood and sleep problems so I am glad to hear that you are seeing your doctor about this.

The herb Agnus castus is often used for heavy/prolonged periods so may be worth trying for a couple of months if the doctor doesn't suggest anything.

However, if this does continue you must get them to look into it further for you, don't be fobbed off as in being told it's ok! (we do get a lot of women who have been bleeding for months and their doctor is unwilling to help!).

Acupuncture can often be really good for balancing the hormones at the start of the menopause so worth looking into as well.
