Hi. I have sharp pain in lower back when going to sit or getting back up off chair and when bending. Tiger balm helps. And stiffness. I do a lot of manual work. Also is stress a factor in it as I've been anxious the last week. I'm 40.

Hello Eileen There are many causes of back pain and while I have my suspicions as to what’s wrong, I can’t advise over the internet. To avoid making it worse with the wrong exercises, you’ll need to see a physiotherapist.

Can we get a video for above exercises? I do them in the evening as a part of recovery exercise after gym. Should i do them in the morning as well? Is Surya Namaskar (Sun Salutation Yoga) good for lower back?

Hello Ayush Message received. We do have a studio but not as time as we’d like to produce all the video we’d like to, so please be patient. Doing these exercises once a day should be sufficient to help and incorporating a Sun Salutation will always be beneficial for the lower back.

I am suffering from sciatic nerve pain and having osteopathic help, but wonder if I should also take herbal supplements as well as exercising.

Hello Anne Not necessarily. You may at times need a sleeping remedy such as our Dormeasan if the sciatica disturbs your sleep and it may even help the nerve pain but it depends what you want a remedy to help achieve.

Thank you so much for your reply. I am much impressed by the product range and quality of your supplements. I wondered whether muscular function would benefit from any of these.

Hi again Anne Muscle function is part chemical, part electrical and part good mechanics, so complex, but a good starting point would be our Balance powder or some magnesium citrate tablets.
