I looked this up as I'm used to feeling a bit bloated after food but just recently it's been super bloated like a pregnancy feeling which I thought of too however being on the cerrelle contraceptive which stopped my periods now for 12 years it's hard to tell without a test. Along with the super bloatedness I'm feeling symptoms of chronic fatigue, I wake at 6am but by 1pm I feel terrible coupled with lower back pain and unreliable pain killers from the doctor naproxen and Co dydramol things are becoming harder at work where I was up at a busy restaurant I only do 2 days a week as single parent no car, thank heavens for my bicycle!which is used regularly which I enjoy helping to keep fit. Had a recent spell of not so healthy food but now getting back on track but feel worse! Any comments or help I would be grateful and interested to hear. Ty Miss M. xx

Hi Rachel, Actually the painkillers are very bad for your digestive system, so that is probably why your bloating has got worse. It would be a good idea to talk to your doctor about this because until the back is sorted out and you don't have to have the painkillers, it will be hard to know how much is due to them. Best Wishes, Ali

Hi Kevin, we couldn’t say for sure what might be the cause, but considering your medical history we would recommend you contact your doctor or consultant here in order to investigate this further.
