Hi Ali, Recently I have been diagnosed as having acid reflux. But it is not like burning, but more like cramps on my chest below both collor bones. Dr says it is epigastric pain. I have been prescribed with several remedies such as Nexium, Ranitidine etc. But not greatly helped. I used to take Vogel Milk Thistle, but not any more after this. Is there anything I can try to get rid of this naturally? Thanks

Hi George, You might start with taking Silicol gel half an hour before meals, as it is very soothing and calming. However, also look carefully at your posture - are you at all hunched or do you hunker down over your meals? Your stomach needs plenty of room to avoid cramping pains. Don't overfill it at any one meal, and avoid drinking anything within 20 minutes either side of meals, to keep the stomach from overfilling. Best Wishes, Ali

Hi Anthony for different people it can be different things but you are looking at gluten, wheat, dairy, processed foods, tea, coffee and alcohol being major contributors to this problem. Try cutting these out and maybe keep a food diary to see what happens after you eat different things and then avoid the ones that cause you problems.
