Hi Ali, The herbal remedies AvenaCalm or Stress Relief Daytime are fine here, they have no known contraindications with blood pressure medications.

My son, agd 56 has athetoid cerebral palsy and his muscles are often very stiff. To overcome this great handicap our doctor has him take baclofen 10mg each evening. In my opinion the baclofen does not have any positive effect. Now my son is sleeping very poorly and often seems to be anxious. What would you consider the best herbal remedy for him? I have wondered abut passiflora or avena satina but Daytime Stress Away might be more effective? He has a lot of stress triggered by many toileting needs for which he needs care and requires help with eating at mealtimes. The late Mr Jan de Vries prescribed him with some magnesium - but our doctor is not enthusiastic about that - and he was also on Apicerebrum but that is no longer available in this country. Your advice and help will be very greatly appreciated.

Hello Ann, AvenaCalm might be suitable, but please check with your doctor first as they will need to approve it. You can download the Patient Information Leaflet from the product page on the website, or I can send it to you if you prefer. Best wishes
