    I'm 49 ..not had a period for 5 months however last month it decides to show worst pain ...very forgetful and palpitations will this ever end ?

      Hello Rachel, The menopause is not a static state. Periods can go missing or stop and start for quite some time. However, ask the doctor to test your hormone levels and test for low iron, low Vit D or low thyroid. This can help to clarify what is going on. Try to reduce caffeine and high sugar foods from your diet, as these can often trigger symptoms or make them worse. Include plenty of plain water into your daily routine as dehydration can be a culprit.
