Hiya Catherine, Headaches can be caused by various factors falling oestrogen levels during the menopause, stress, dehydration etc. However, as you are in pain, the best advice that I can give you at the moment is to seek an appointment with your GP for professional advice.

Hi Beatrice, First thing to do is to check with your doctor about your blood pressure, in case it's high. Secondly, check that you are drinking heaps of plain, still water every day, in case you're dehydrated. Thirdly, get a check up with a cranial osteopath in case you have a structural issue that triggers in your sleep (maybe tooth grinding, for instance). Best Wishes, Eileen
